Freenet6 upgrade

Freenet6 will be offline between 10am and 4pm eastern time Tuesday December 9. This will be the first step in a series of upgrades to make Freenet6 better by providing connectivity world wide but also to add new functionality.
As part of the upgrade there will be an address change which will affect users who use static addressing. All users will be given new addresses after the upgrade and all static configurations need to be changed to reflect this. Most users will not notice any difference since the tunneling client will take care of the addressing automatically.
The next step in the upgrade will be to add sites in Europe and Asia as well as starting to offer translation and home access services. IPv4 over IPv6 tunneling will also be available for testing.
